Spring awakening in cherry-tree country

Of all seasons, spring has always been the one that inspires me the most. This season that sees the rebirth of nature, where the buds pierce the last cold of winter, giving the first bright colors to the landscapes.

Perhaps one of the most beautiful shows is the flowering of Japanese cherry trees in Kyoto. The contemplation of these many gnarled trees, at the beginning of their flowering, where the first buds appear, barely visible, still trapped in their scales touched me by the sweetness of their existence and the strength of their will to overcome winter.

I have transcribed this perception of the rebirth of nature into a bracelet that takes up the silhouette of the stem and buds that are emerging.
