Piet Mondrian : A hymn to purification

Piet Mondriaan, one of the first painters to express himself by abstraction, based on the purification of the painting.

His best-known works are these crossings of lines delimiting spaces of primary colors.

Piet Mondriaan gradually approached abstraction by observing nature and country landscapes. He enjoyed painting the perspectives and their touches of color, especially the roofs of the village houses through the interlacing of the tree branches. Gradually, he simplified the expression to retain only the straight lines symbolizing the tree branches and the spaces occupied by the colors of the landscape.

I created this necklace made of rubies and gold rods to pay tribute to him,
